Job Description

The Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator at DMA Group is responsible for managing the flow of goods from international suppliers to the local market, ensuring efficient import, storage, and distribution operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product availability, optimizing stock levels, and supporting smooth business operations across Iraq.

The position involves close coordination with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries, accurate inventory management, and cost-efficient operations. The coordinator helps reduce delays, improve planning, and support overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate import processes, including shipments, documentation, and customs clearance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability across warehouses.
  • Plan and track shipments from international suppliers to local distribution points.
  • Work closely with sales and product teams to align supply with market demand.
  • Manage warehouse operations and ensure proper storage and handling of products.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues, delays, and bottlenecks.
  • Prepare reports on stock levels, shipments, and supply chain performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export operations.
  • Strong understanding of shipping processes, customs procedures, and inventory management.
  • Experience working with international suppliers is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good command of English for communication with suppliers.
